Katie Price has been caught by police, chatting on her mobile phone while driving her unmissable bright pink horse box.

Sources have reported that Katie was scooped while cruising along in her 7.5-tonne pink vehicle in Bolney, West Sussex, on the A23 in February.

A source told the News of the World: “The officers who pulled Jordan over in the horsebox could hardly believe their eyes.

“There was not much trouble identifying the driver – and the horsebox isn’t exactly subtle.”

Katie, who has three points on her driving licence already, has now hired celebrity lawyer Nick Freeman to represent her in court for this and a different speeding offence. Freeman aka ‘Mr Loophole’ famously got Jeremy Clarkson cleared, when he was caught speeding by police cameras in 2007. Snapped doing 82mph in a 50mph zone, Clarkson was reportedly driving an Alfa Romeo Brera press fleet car on the A40 expressway in Ruislip.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “A 31-year-old woman has been summoned to appear at Crawley Magistrates on two different occasions for offences relating to not being in proper control of a motor vehicle and excess speed.”
