Katie Price+ has claimed that her former marriage to Peter Andre was completely manufactured and insisted that her union with Alex Reid, is truly borne out of love.

During a press conference yesterday the mum of three declared:

“Me and Alex are nothing like me and Pete. It was manufactured. No-one is controlling us, no-one is saying when we can hold hands, no-one is saying: ‘Say this in an interview,’ no-one is saying: ‘Say that.’

“It was all controlled. It was like when people who win Pop Idol or the X Factor, it was all just manufactured.”

Katie may think that she’s helping her cause by appearing to be honest about her past, however this announcement will only make people more suspicious of her new marriage to Alex Reid and every other event and occasion in her life in the future. We are starting to wish that Kate and Alex would just retire from public life altogether!
