Katie Price is reportedly planning to remarry her new husband Alex Reid in an extravagant ceremony this June.

The pair eloped to Las Vegas last week and married in a quick ceremony, but Jordan now plans to sell the filming rights for another ceremony this summer. Sources suggest that Katie and Alex only married in America, in a bid to raise their profile in the country.

An insider told The News Of The World: “They are desperate to crack the US – the Las Vegas wedding was a means to an end for them.

“They have struck a deal with a magazine and ITV for a £3million wedding in the summer which will be massive.

“They’re looking at a couple of places for the venue – one is in a large marquee in the Surrey area close to where she lives.”

Another source said: “This is going to be THE showbiz wedding of the summer.

“It will be the big money-spinner Katie needs to get her business empire back on track.”

Katie hopes the ceremony will help her to win the public round, as she has lost so much support since her breakup with Peter Andre.

The source concluded: “With Katie’s popularity in freefall, she fears she’ll lose everything she has worked for.

“She sees Alex as the key to rebuilding Brand Katie.

“She feels that she needs him on board to reinvent herself again and if she loses him, she’ll lose everything.”
