Katie Price is going ahead with plans to organise a party, once her divorce is finalised.

Katie, split from husband Peter Andre almost six months ago. She has told OK magazine: “Divorce parties are a great idea. Everyone should have one.

“It’s not about getting your own back on an ex, it’s all about celebrating the fact you are moving on with your life.

“When I do mine it’s not because I’m single, it’s because I’m celebrating the marriage coming to the end.

“They’re like baby showers. And why not? Any excuse for a party!”

However, Peter Andre sees things differently and called her plans “childish.”

He added: “If anything, I felt sad that it had come to this. I know it might be a bit boring, but what on earth would I be celebrating?”
