Katie Price Tells Piers Morgan That She Was Abused Age Six
Katie Price was sexually abused at the age of six, she is reported to have told Piers Morgan.
The News Of The World have claimed that Katie told Piers as part of his ITV chat show that she and a friend were playing hide and seek in a local park when a man exposed himself to them and went on to touch them inappropriately.
“[It was] some weirdo. Oh, you know what I’m saying. Just some weirdo in a park,” Price is quoted by the newspaper as saying.
She struggled to compose herself and continued: “Well, it’s never affected me. But obviously it must have done, for me to just feel like that. But I don’t know. You just learn to get on with things, don’t you? I haven’t got a problem normally with it so I don’t know why I do have a problem with it now.”
Katie’s interview will be aired on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on ITV1 next Sunday.

Whilst I am a fan of Katie Price, I can’t help but think that Jade was getting too much coverage and Katie had to come back with something that would bring the spotlight back to her. I have no doubt it happened to her, it happened to me too, but she has had cameras follow her around for the last how many years, and it has only just come to light. It would be interesting to know when the programme with Piers Morgan was filmed. Perhaps it is me being cynical, but, who knows!!

I think she is well brave, and that girls in their teens can look up to her, if they have expierenced somthing similar in their lives. Shes been through so much. Her books are great and she is an Idol (: <3

I watched the interview with piers morgan. It was brilliant. I really admire Katie for her frankness and honesty. My regards to Katie Peter and children, they are a wonderful family. xxx

With regard to some of the negative comments it is clear none of you even watched the actual interview so therefore have little right to comment. I did watch the interview, and it was very upsetting to see Katie struggle not to cry. Unfortunately we live in a time where most girls have experienced some sort of abuse, and it helps no-one to criticise they way anyone deals with it. I admire Katie for her honesty and she is a brilliant role model. x

She said she was touched inapropriately not actually raped, so I believe this to be something that she has managed to put at the back of her mind until something reminds her. I suppose having a daughter of her own makes the memory come back more.
When someone says they have been abused, people should believe them, so what if she has made a career of getting her kit off, or selling stories… does that mean it never happened? its like saying a wife or even a prostitute cant be raped… of course they can.
I do not believe she would lie about something like this, and her making it public knowledge can only be a good thing, as it makes the rest of the world realise that it can happen to any child, any age, anywhere. The days of letting your kids roam around without concern have long gone, and that is not a bad thing, I am sure this happened just as much in days past as it does now, but it just wasnt reported as much.
Well done to her I say for making this a taboo topic one which is being discussed.

i think she brought the chld abuse subject up because she needs a new fan base to make more money , abused girls will like her more and be more interested in spendin their money on her stuff , she comes across as a very cold person , im a good judge of character and i find her to be desieving and manipulative , a shite role model for girls
