Despite declaring that she intended to share all her wealth with new husband Alex Reid, sources suggest that Katie Price is reneging on her word.

Katie failed to sign a prenuptial agreement with Alex Reid before they married last month, meaning that if they split he would be entitled to have of her £30 million fortune. She is now reportedly planning to move much of that money into trust funds for her children so that Alex can’t touch it.

An insider told The News Of The World: “She knows he could potentially walk away with around £15 million if they ever divorce. It terrifies her as money is so important to her.”

A pal added: “She has made it very clear that money is not for him. The stupid thing is Alex loves her and genuinely isn’t after Katie’s money.”

Katie is also said to have lost the plot when Alex asked for a cut of the profits from her ITV2 reality TV show. A fair request we think, considering he appears in every episode.

However a source said: “Katie went mad, saying it is her show and that she’s going to put her earnings into their new joint account.”
