Katie Price vows to make fiancé Kieran Hayler a star & 5ive reforming for reality show… well, 4our of them are anyway

As we reported recently, reality TV star and model Katie Price is set to wed for a third time when she marries – sometime next week apparently – her fiancé Kieran Hayler, who currently works as a plasterer by day, and a stripper by night…

However, with all her celeb contacts on stand-by, Katie has vowed to ensure that Kieran can leave behind his “seedy” stripping job because she intends to make him a “star.”

Speaking to The Sun, a friend of Kieran’s said, “She thinks she can make him a star away from the seedy world of stripping…”

I’m not so sure stripping is as “seedy” for men as it arguably is for women, but hey ho, I’m sure the good ship of his career isn’t going to come to any harm by having Katie at its helm…

However, speaking of careers and harm, that brings me to our next snippet of reality TV news which is that 90s boy band 5ive are set to reform and will have the whole thing filmed for a new ITV2 show.

Entitled The Big Reunion, the show is perhaps optimistically headlined, because for a start, J Brown won’t be in it, so it’s more of a 4our reunion than a 5ive.

5ive the big reunion

Nonetheless, we’ll see the other band members, Ritchie Neville, Abz Love, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon working on a regroup as they hope to emulate their former success in the world of pop.

Speaking to TV Biz, Sean said, “I was struggling with a lot of demons and insecurities back then. My confidence was gone and I was breaking down.”

And of the band splitting, he added, “I remember being completely inconsolable, sobbing in a hotel room.

“At that point we all knew we couldn’t go on like that.”

We’ll keep you posted as to when that’s going to air. What do you think of the band reforming? Have they got any hope of being as popular as they once were? I hope it does work out for them!

Here’s a reminder of them in their glory days…
