Anthony Kavangh, better known as 90s one hit wonder Kavana, and now likes to be called Kav, has made his comeback in ITV’s Grease Is The Word.

But Kav’s former manager Nigel Martin-Smith does not think he can win the role of Danny Zuko.

While Nigel has confidence that his former protégé will reach at least the final 10, he told The Manchester Evening News:

“I can confidently predict that Kav will get to the final 10 guys for the role of Danny. He is a great singer; there is no doubt about that.

“But I’m not so sure he has what it takes to win this competition because his dancing was always a weak point in his repertoire. And the role of Danny calls for someone who can dance and sing a bit, not the other way around.

“There are people in the show who can dance and even look like Danny from Grease so I think Kav may have his work cut out actually winning the competition.”
