Kelly Clarkson has claimed that American Idol can continue without Simon Cowell, but says that he will be missed.

“It’s the biggest TV show ever in the States,” she told the Daily Star. “A lot of the housewives will miss him but the show will go on.”

Clarkson also admitted that she would love to sing on Simon’s charity single for Haiti.

“I only got back from holiday this week but I’d love to do something to help,” she said.

“I didn’t even know about Simon’s song until today, but it sounds like it’s gonna be one of those tearjerkers.”
