Kerry Katona has denied recent press reports that she was dropped by CAN Associates this week.

The management agency were said to have severed all contact with the troubled reality TV star and some speculated that it may have been due to her recent wild behaviour, or the fact that she refused to attend fellow CAN star Amy Child’s birthday party on Tuesday night.

However Kerry took to Twitter this afternoon to set the record straight and she posted a message telling her followers:

Contrary to recent press reports, I was not ‘dumped’ by CAN Associates. It was my decision to leave, as on a professional level my career was taking a direction that I did not want, nor did I feel was appropriate.

She cryptically added:

Furthermore on a personal level, I felt that my integrity had been compromised, as it was with Nicola Partridge before me. I have not taken any drugs in the last year and a half – and if anyone claims otherwise, I will sue without hesitation.
