Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian is to follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears and make a cameo appearance on US TV sitcom, How I Met Your Mother.

Kim will be playing a “magazine cover version” of herself, alongside fellow reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

“I am beyond excited to be taping an episode of How I Met Your Mother,” the 28-year-old told People.

“I absolutely love the show and am thrilled for this fabulous opportunity.”
