After the recent revelations of an affair with Simon Cowell, former X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue has remained very tight-lipped over the situation, despite it reportedly breaking her family up, but it would seem that there is one member of the Minogue clan who can no longer hold her tongue regarding the subject, Dannii’s sister Kylie Minogue!

According to The Sun newspaper, pint-sized Kylie has come out and publicly blasted Simon Cowell, claiming that the details revealed in his tell-all biography, Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell, by Tom Bower, have really hurt her sister Dannii.

Details of the affair came out a few weeks after Dannii split with her fiancée, and father to her young son, Kris Smith, though there has been much speculation that the two events were linked.

Kylie said: “It was a bit of a second blow after, ‘Oh, my relationship has broken down’.”

Before adding: “He doesn’t need to do those things. Or maybe he does. Who knows?.. who knows? I don’t know the guy.”when asked if she thought that Cowell had betrayed her sister.

However, Kylie has insisted that Dannii, who sent the X Factor into chaos a few weeks ago when she turned down the fourth judging seat on the hit ITV talent show forcing producers to bring in a string of stand in judges to help as the show began its audition stages in Liverpool last week, will be  “all right”, commenting: “Dannii is tough.”

According to the book, which was written by Tom Bower, Simon had first spoke of the affair telling a friend: “There were a few bonks and then it petered out while I was in America.”

According to reports, Cowell was unhappy that the story had leaked into the book (which incidentally was launched with Cowell in attendance, with him even signing copies for fans – not the sort of thing you would expect him to do if it is true that he had no input or influence to its publishing), but later had to admit that the story was true.
