Lee Mead On Hairspray The High School Musical

So I admit that I am loving Sky One’s ‘Hairspray The High School Musical’, mostly because I would have so loved to do what they are doing as a teenager, but somehow I can’t see Denise Van Outen in a West Belfast grammar school!

I was so jealous of the girls on the show tonight as they got to spend the day with the delectable Lee Mead. I saw the man in a loincloth during a recent performance of ‘Joseph’ on the West End, but it just wasn’t enough!

Is anyone else watching Denise’s show on Sky One? Is anyone else a bit doubtful that the kids can pull off a performance of that magnitude with just a few days of rehearsals left to go?

    I’m loving it, this used to be my old secondary school many, many years ago, did not have the facilities now like drama theatre in the school. I am very nervous about them pulling it off unless they are deliberatly showing us the worst bits. I was surprised that they did not have understudies already as well, kids are always catching something or injuring themselves.
