Dina Lohan, mum of the infamous Lindsay Lohan, has denied that she is fame seeker trying to realise her dream of stardom through her new reality TV show.

Dina insists that she is trying to improve her families image with the show, rather than become a celebrity.

She told Metro: “It’s about setting the record straight because there are so many horrific things written about my daughter and myself and my family and my children.”

Ali added: “My mom doesn’t want the fame. She wants to be in the spotlight to take over her kids’ careers. She’s like any mom in America.”

Living Lohan airs on E! Entertainment on June 8th.
