Made In Chelsea: Binky Felstead says show doesn’t need ‘boring’ Spencer Matthews and Francesca Hull is quitting?

Outspoken Made In Chelsea star, Alexandra Felstead, AKA Binky, has revealed how she believes that the E4 reality show, which follows the lives of London’s young, elite socialites, will continue to thrive despite the departure of one of its main stars, Spencer Matthews.

Matthews quit the show at the end of last series having accepted a job as the new lead for Channel 5′s The Bachelor, despite having recently rekindled his relationship with ex, Louise Thompson whilst she was going out with his best friend, Jamie Laing.

Speaking of Matthews to OK! magazine, Binky described the hunk, who has featured on the show since it began, as boring and explained how she thought his exit from the show would be good for the rest of the cast.

“We don’t need Spencer! It will give everyone else an opportunity to shine – especially the boys like Jamie, Francis and Proudlock, as they are hilarious together.”

Binky, who was recently unveiled as  the face of Punky Allsorts’ debut clothing collection, went on to talk about her blossoming new model career with the  popular fashion brand, notorious for its Scrabble Tile Range and confectionery twists on jewellery, which has been made famous from celebrity fans such as  Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rita Ora.

Speaking at the event, Binky said:“I was standing next to Alayna at the bar when out for a drink with friends and saw her ring, it was amazing and looked just like a little gingerbread house on her finger! I’m the kind of girl that compliments someone when I like something they’re wearing and asked her where she’d got it. I was so impressed when she told me she made it and owns a business where she makes and sells lots of jewellery similar to this, we got chatting and before I knew it I was modelling her new clothing range!”

Binky’s Favourite pieces in the line include:

Sweetie Dress: “It’s really fun, perfect for a tea party or a picnic with friends but it can equally take you in to the evening for some cocktails with the girls”

Dip Dye Sweet Face T-shirt: “I’ve got myself one of these and I love it, it’s really casual and you’ll often see me down King’s Road with this teamed with some leggings and boots or sandals”

Owl Blouse: “It’s so different and you can tell the amount of work that went in to it. It’s so pretty and you can dress it up with a skirt, like the Owl Peplum, or it looks just as awesome with a pair of skinny jeans and some flat pumps”

Cadillac Peplum Skirt: “The colours in the skirt are gorgeous: pastels are bang on trend at the moment. It reminds me of Summer and Grease. It’s flirty and fun and I’d happily wear it in the office or on a date too”

When the subject of other reality shows was brought up during the interview, Binky wasted no time in insisting that she would never go on a show like Celebrity Big Brother, but revealed who would be the first to get her vote should the cast of MIC be put together in the famous Channel 5 house:

“I’d obviously vote off Kimberley. She’d probably try to stab me in my sleep or something.

“I would like Francis to win because he’s a legend and he cracks me up.”

However, she may have used her hypothetical vote a bit prematurely as according to previous reports, Kimberley Garner has already been axed from the show following a violent showdown with co-star Harriet Loder (read original article here), something that Binky does not seem particularly devastated by.

‘”She hasn’t been honest and if people cheat on people in the small circles we live in, others will find out. She’s got no friends on the show” She told the magazine.

Meanwhile, the show could be set for another huge blow as Francesca Hull is thinking of quitting the show, according to Digital Spy.

According to the website, Hull is “relieved and happy” that filming for the third series has come to an end and is seriously considering her future on the show.

Hull, who is known as Cheska on the popular E4 reality show, is reportedly weighing up her options before signing up for the fourth series of the show, which was confirmed yesterday after weeks of speculation that the show had been cancelled (read original article here).

This news isn’t surprising as fans of the show have watched Cheska involved in a number of on-screen rows with fellow show stars, not to mention the ones they didn’t see, with the most damaging being the disagreement involving  her and Binky when they interfered in the relationship of Richard Dinan and Kimberley Garner, which lead to the fight which saw Kimberley axed from the show

Speaking at the UK premiere of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ at London’s Leicester Square last night , she told BANG Showbiz: ”I’m not sure if I’m going to be in the next series but we’ll see. I’m having a lot of meetings with people but we’ll see what happens.

”I’m relieved and happy to have wrapped on that series, it got a bit much and was quite dramatic. It was tough but it was good fun at the same time.”

Despite the obvious bad blood now running through the show’s veins, Cheska insists that there are no hard feelings between her and co-star Richard Dinan and that the pair are still “good friends”, commenting:

”At the beginning we can’t predict what’s going to happen so when Richard came in it was really exciting but as it happened there were a few ups and downs. But that happens and we’re still good friends.”
