Made In Chelsea: Jamie Laing opens pop up sweetie shop!

Made In Chelsea star, Jamie Laing, launched his first pop-up shop, Candy Kittens, in Chelsea’s Kings Road yesterday.

The reality star, who was callously dumped by co-star, Louise Thompson for his best friend and co-star, Spencer Matthews, had expressed a desire to launch his own sweet franchise, run by sexy girls, in the E4 show last series.

And now it would seem that his dreams have become a reality as he happily posed for picture with his Candy Kittens for the launch, pictured in todays the Sun newspaper.

The McVitie’s heir said of his new employees: “Candy Kittens are fun, cute, sexy, attractive, desirable. It’s like a mixture between Kate Hudson and Mila Kunis.”

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a sweet tooth though, as a range of Candy Kitten T-shirts, pyjamas and phone cases are also on sale to give the more savoury people a reason to visit the shop in hope of getting a glimpse of Jamie!

Supporting Jamie on his special launch night were many of his MIC co-stars and friends, including Cheska Hull, Francis Boulle, Millie Mackintosh, Oliver Proudlock and even the love-rat himself, Spencer Matthews!

Also there to cheer him on was Apprentice runner-up, Tom Gearing, who commented that he thought Candy Kittens would impress Lord Sugar, saying of his nearly-boss: “He’s a guy who likes to see profit margins, so if it turns over a profit then I’m sure he’ll love it.”

Made In Chelsea has finally begun filming it’s fourth series, which was delayed due to the Olympics, and will see quite a few changes when it comes back on our screens later this year following the departures of show favourites, Hugo Taylor and Caggie Dunlop, who have both left to pursue other career’s (in Caggie’s case it that career change is One Direction groupie!), making room for a few new faces.

Matthews said: “I went to school with one of the new characters, but he didn’t get in touch before so it was a bit of a shock when I saw him.”

Meanwhile, Cheska, who will be disappointed to learn that one of these new faces is reported to be Ianthe Cochrane, the new girlfriend of  Richard Dinan, who she developed a crush on in the last series, is hoping that there may be a new love interest for her on the horizon:.

“I think the producers have been trying to get me to be with someone for a very long time now. Everyone labels me as a Chelsea Bridget Jones but I’m quite picky.”

Candy Kittens is open to the public from today at 336 King’s Road.
