Made In Chelsea: Millie Mackintosh haunted by school bullies, while the MIC cast are voted most likely to be ‘removed’ from Ascot!

Who would have thought it, but Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh was bullied as  a teenager, for having long slim legs!

Now a famous reality star, with parents who are heir to the Quality Street fortune and a rap star boyfriend, it is hard to believe that Mackintosh has endured experiences anything other than fabulous in her glitzy life, but it would seem that bullies made her as insecure as your average Joe (or Joanna) Bloggs!

According to Now!Magazine, Mackintosh, who has been dating Brit rap artist, Professor Green since  February this year, spent her teenage years being teased for her long slim legs, you know the ones we are all sick with jealousy over!

Speaking to the magazine, Millie explained how the bullying made her feel:  ”At school people used to call me names like “Sparrow Legs” because I had such long, gangly limbs,

“But you have to rise above that. My mum always told me to be confident.

“I learnt a long time ago how to deal with playground bullying. It’s a life lesson, don’t give them the time of day, they just want a reaction.

“I’m happy with my body and I know that’s hard for a lot of girls to say.”

Despite this obviously traumatic experience, Millie acknowledges that she has nothing to be embarrassed by her model-like figure:

“Both my parents and my sister are slim and I’ve got tall grandparents,’ she explained to Celebs On Sunday.

‘They’re 6ft – or they were. They’ve shrunk a bit now.”

Meanwhile, it would seem that the Made In Chelsea’s Royal Ascot party may be over before it has even begun, as bookies have said the MIC cast are odds on favourite for getting thrown out of Ascot’s Royal Enclosure next week.

They were crowned the top of the betting poles over the likes of the fellow reality stars from The Only Way Is Essex, and the notoriously boisterous Loose Women, to be named most likely trouble makers on the day, with odds of 6/4 that one of them would be turned away from the iconic sporting event, according to the Sun newspaper.

TOWIE were a close second, however, at odds of 10/1.

Rupert Adams, a  William Hill spokesman said: “It may come as a surprise that we favour Made In Chelsea over Towie to receive a right royal booting but we think the King’s Road cast aren’t as posh as they think they are.”
