Made In Chelsea series finale: Louise Thompson admits she is ‘no longer dating’ Spencer Matthews, Caggie confirms appearance was ‘just a cameo’ and Spencer and Jamie Laing kiss and make up?

In the lead up to what some believe may be the last ever Made In Chelsea, shown last night, there were many hints of the bromance of Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing being rekindled, mainly from the former friends themselves.

Spencer Matthews, who has recently been confirmed as the star of this years Channel 5 dating show, The Bachelor, took to social networking site, Twitter, to tease fans about his final appearance on the show that aired last, tweeting: ‘Guys don’t forget to catch the #madeinchelsea 3rd Season finalé on#E4 tonight at 10pm… Big scene with @JamieLaing_UK to top it all off. X’

Matthews fell out with best friend and Made In Chelsea co-star, Jamie Laing, after betraying him by sleeping with his girlfriend, Louise Thompson, on a recent, and highly publicised trip to Dubai for Thompson’s birthday.

Since then the three have been involved in a bitter feud, with the public siding with Laing, sending hate mail and even death threats to the cheating pair.

However, now that Spencer has signed up to play The Bachelor this year, where he has to audition through 15 girls all wanting to be his girlfriend, and despite still appearing very much the couple on-screen, Louise has since  confirmed off-screen that the relationship is officially over,  it would seem that the ice between the two has friends has started to thaw somewhat.

In the last episode an air of truce was presented, although at one stage it did show a very sorry for himself looking Laing eating pizza alone, unable to face a party where he would have to see Spencer and Louise together, but with the rules of The Bachelor quite specific in that the star must be single, and Thompson’s statement, the former best friends found a moment during the show to embrace an emotional reunion, including an apology and a hug!

Earlier this week the two former friends had hinted that their friendship was being worked on when Spencer tweeted: ’@JamieLaing_UK Miss you too buddy. Do Glasgow proud bro..#RepeatOfOldTimes. Time will fly. See you soon x’

Laing wasn’t quite as close to rebuilding bridges with ex girlfriend, Louise, however, who had requested to speak with him during the 1960′s themed party, hosted by Ollie Locke, but when the pair came face to face, things got a bit heated, and not in the good way!

Thompson, it would seem, was unhappy with the fact that Jamie had refused to speak to her since she cheated on him with his best friend, and thought it completely reasonable and necessary to take him to one side to tell him that she hated him and that had no regrets about sleeping with Spencer Matthews behind his back!

After this Thompson sought comfort in co-star Francis Boulle, who told her a few home truths, including:  ”You made your bed, and you’ve slept in it with Spencer”.

Another surprise in the final episode was the appearance of former cast member, Caggie Dunlop.  Dunlop had announced her departure from the show a few weeks before, after having not been seen on The Made In Chelsea screens for most of the third series, in order to concentrate on her music and designing careers.

Dunlop was featured in the episode giving counsel to Spencer Matthews over the love triangle situation he had found himself in, a meeting which did not please Louise in the slightest, and may have been the incident that lead to the couples split.

Fans of the show set the rumour mill buzzing in the lead up to the finale thinking that Dunlop had changed her mind and rejoined the show, but Dunlop took to Twitter after the show aired to confirm that the rumours were not true, her brief appearance was simply a cameo.

She tweeted: ‘just to clarify I’m not back in Made in Chelsea was just a cameo x’.
