Made In Chelsea: Spencer Matthews “I wont ever get back with Louise”

I hope that Louise Thompson is paying attention, because it doesn’t get much clearer than this.

For weeks the Made In Chelsea’s star has been banging on to just about anyone who would listen how she and Spencer Matthews were still an item despite him taking part in Channel 5′s The Bachelor, and despite Matthews trying his hardest to deny it without hurting the poor girl’s feelings (does anyone else think that Louise and TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger would make like THE best of friends?)

Matthews and Thompson got together during a trip to Dubai during the last series of Made In Cheslea, despite the fact that Louise was seeing Matthews best friend, Jamie Laing.  The pair came home to a whirlwind of abuse and disgust at their actions, which left Laing broken-hearted, and despite defending their actions by saying their love was the real deal, literally weeks later they had announced that their brief relationship was over.

It was a matter of days after this that the news that Matthews had signed up to take the crown from Gavin Henson to take part as this years The Bachelor, a dating show where has to audition girls to be his girlfriend, and since then Louise has been a complete defensive insisting that they will always love each other and that they were still secretly an item.

However, after weeks of skirting round the issue, Matthews has finally spoken out to put the record straight, and that record, according to entertainment.stv website, is that Bachelor or no Bachelor, Matthews does not want Louise Thompson back.

When asked if he thought he would pick up his realtionship with Thompson after the show, which began last week, the reality star said: ”I really don’t think I would. I think we’d be better as friends.

”I feel it’s the right time in my life to meet some people I wouldn’t necessarily meet in everyday life and, I hope, find love.”

In response to Thompson’s claims of how hurt she would be should he find love on the show, Matthews added: ”It is soon but it’s just best to look forward instead of backwards. If I do get a girlfriend and it upsets Louise, it’s a shame. I hope she knows I’ll always be there for her. We need to face the reality that we never worked.

”Louise and I met when we were 17 but we weren’t quite ready for anything serious, so we became really good friends. We’ve always been very close but, every time we circulated back to one another in a romantic way, it just didn’t work and each time we damaged the friendship we had. We mutually decided we worked better as friends.”

Please Louise, if you are reading, take what little self-respect you have left and accept that it’s over.

And if you can’t get your head around what Spencer has done to you, watch this clip below and always remember, what goes around, comes around!
