Made In Chelsea’s Caggie Dunlop confirms show exit to concentrate on her music!

Made In Chelsea star, Caggie Dunlop, has announced her decision to leave the hit E4 reality show that made her famous in an attempt to launch a singing career!

This news comes as  fans of the show had started to question why  Caggie, who has been a part of the show since it began, had been continually absent from the show over the last few weeks since the beginning of the new series.

Viewers of the show, which recently featured the high publicity affair of Spencer Matthews and Louise Thompson, took to social networking site, Twitter, after last night’s Made In Chelsea episode to ask the socialite-come-pop-star-wannabe why she wasn’t on their screens, to which Caggie replied confirming that she “ has left to further her music career and also she is working on her fashion line.”

Dunlop was often seen singing and performing during the shows previous series’, and had even caught the attention of former X Factor contestant, Frankie Cocozza, who used Twitter to tell the rising star how he intended on stalking her until she “loved him too”.

However, despite fan approval and maximum exposure, Dunlop’s music has yet to catch the eye of those who could make it mainstream in the way she expected it to, and as tensions over this mounted, it was reported a few months back that all was not well, confirmed this week  when a source close to the star told heat magazine:  ”Caggie has walked.

“She’ll be seen in the first two episodes but she has now left and told producers that she wants to focus on her singing career. Spencer is really shocked.

“It is a real blow to the show – the ‘will they, won’t they?’ aspect of Caggie and Spencer is a big part of the plot – but now they’re having to look at other ideas.

“There are some younger female characters being introduces into the next series so producers are hoping one of them will catch Spencer’s eye.”

Made In Chelsea can be seen on Monday nights at 10pm on E4.
