Made In Chelsea’s Caggie Dunlop debuts fashion line whilst Spencer Matthews says he will probably marry her!!!
Well, it has certainly been a busy week for former Made In Chelsea star, Caggie Dunlop!
Not only did she make a cameo in the show that she quit weeks before in the series finale of Made In Chelsea, but she also released her first ever fashion line. Oh yeah, and her ex, Spencer Matthews says he wants to marry her!
During the shows final, which Dunlop made her cameo to help ex Spencer Matthews gain perspective on his love triangle predicament, Caggie was seen performing in her labels skull Rebellion ISWAI T-shirt (£42) and a cross layered necklace (£26.99) from her debut jewellery line, which is due to launch soon.
The concept behind ISWAI – It Started With An Idea, was to create a fashion community suitable and appealing to everyone, and is the third label to be created from a Made In Chelsea cast member. Former star, Amber Atherton is the head of jewellery brand My Flash Trash and Oliver Proudlock is enjoying enormous success on Sloane Square where his Serge DeNimes T-Shirt line is a sell-out!
Dunlop’s latest collection, ‘l’Espirit de l’Escalier’ is still in development stages, but is set to be a big hit also! And it may be this recent huge bout of success which has made Matthews has come out and declared his undying love for the designer, and aspiring singer, as well as expressing a desire to marry her one day.
Matthews, who was until recently seeing co-star Louise Thompson after he stole her from best friend Jamie Laing on a recent trip to Dubai, has just signed up to be the star of this years Channel5′s The Bachelor, a dating reality show which will see him auditioning 15 girls to be his girlfriend.
Matthews and Dunlop dated on and off throughout the first two series of Made in Chelsea, and their will-they-wont-they romance kept the nation gripped before Dunlop revealed that she simply wasn’t as in to it as much Matthews.
Since then Matthews dated a string of ladies, including Thompson who he risked his bromance with Laing over after declaring that their affair was the real thing and that he would stand by his girl and their relationship. Despite this, the couple split a few weeks later and Spencer has now rebuilt bridges with Laing, as well as revealing that he was never as in love with Thompson as he had been with Dunlop.
Speaking to Closer magazine Matthews admitted: “I’d like to say I was in love with Funda and Louise and lots of girls I’ve dated, but none of them have made me feel like I did for Caggie. But she obviously doesn’t feel the same.
“If she did, then we would have been together by now. But from a young age, I always assumed we would get married – so never say never. She’s my childhood sweetheart.”
He then went on to discuss how happy he had been when he and Dunlop got it together during the Made In Chelsea Christmas special, filmed in Finland.
Spencer said: “I would never discuss the finer details of what happened, but it was the most amazing three days and getting together with her was one of my happiest moments to date. When we sealed the deal in Finland it was very special.”
Asked about his sex life, Matthews was more than happy to share, saying: ”Since I’ve been famous, girls have even asked me to have sex in he back of their cars – but it’s not my thing these days. To be honest, the sex is never that good! There can be passion, but sex is better in a relationship – if you care about the person.”
