Well, it would seem that the relationship status between Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson and The Bachelor Spencer Matthews has finally been cleared up by MIC co-stars Ollie Locke, Francesca Hull and Rosie Fortescue.

According to the reality stars in a recent interview with Sugarscape, the couple are well and truly NOT together, despite Louise insisting that they are.

Spencer and Louise began their brief relationship on a recent trip to Dubai, despite the fact that she was already going out with Spencers best friend and Made In Chelsea co-star Jamie Laing, but split a few weeks later, right before it was announced that Spencer had been selected to be Channel 5′s The Bachelor for this years  new series which started earlier this week.

Once the announcement had been made, Louise said in an inerview that the couple were still together secretly, a claim that Spencer denied.

So, who to believe?  A desperate woman scorned, who’s only reason for making the claim could well have been to get Spencer disqualified from a show in which he got to pick a new girlfriend, or Spencer?

According to Locke, the situation is more simple than we have been lead to believe:

“They’re not together,” he said. “They broke up… from what I know, they’ve broken up.”

Francesca  Hull added: “I think it’s hard for Louise because they’ve broken up, he’s gone off and is doing this show with lots of girls – and she has to watch that.

“They’ve been on and off for years, and she obviously still has feelings for him.”

However, they were quick to add that they didn’t think Louise would stay single for too long: “She’ll get a new guy. She’s a gorgeous girl, she’ll get snapped up really fast,” predicted Francesca.
