In the words of Justin Timberlake, What Goes Around, Comes Around, – never a truer statement, as Made In Chelsea‘s Louise Thompson is learning, the hard way, as she opens up about Spencer Matthews decision to become Channel 5′s The Bachelor straight after they split up!

Thompson, who recently cheated on boyfriend, Jamie Laing, with his best friend, Spencer Matthews, on a recent trip to Dubai whilst filming her birthday celebrations for the hit E4 show.

However, after receiving a barrage of hate mail and death threats, not to mention returning home to find a devastated Laing waiting on their doorstep demanding answers, it would seem that Spencer’s deceleration that the relationship was the real thing and how he intended to “spend all of his time” with Louise, who he dated before Laing, weeks later the couple have split as Matthews sings up to star in this years The Bachelor.

And now, still licking her wounds, Thompson has opened up to new! magazine about the news, saying:  ”If he finds love on the show, well, it’s not going to feel great!”

According to the magazine, Thompson insists that there are no hard feelings between the pair, and that the decision to split was a mutual one based on the fact that they wanted different things, saying: ”Me and Spencer obviously aren’t together, but we’re very close friends and we still talk a lot.”

“He is single. He’s fully single. He wouldn’t be doing The Bachelor if he wasn’t because I wouldn’t allow it if we were together.”

She continued: “If he finds love on the show, it’s not going to make me feel great, but I mean if that’s what he wants.  Now that filming’s finished and it’s the summer, I’ve got a lot of plans of my own, so I want to be independent.

“It wasn’t really a dumping thing. It just kind of happened. It was just a good idea. It was a mutual decision. My degree is my priority at the end of the day.”

We can’t help but think that Jamie Laing is feeling ever so slightly smug right about now, especially as we reported yesterday how he and Matthews had buried the hatchet, leaving Thompson out in the cold alone!
