After it was revealed that Made In Chelsea star, Louise Thompson, has cheated on her boyfriend, Jamie Lang with his best friend, and co-star, Spencer Matthews on a recent birthday holiday to Dubai (read original article here), Thompson has received a number of death threats.

Angry fans of the show witnessed the infidelity on Monday nights E4 show, and now the Edinburgh university student has spent the rest of the week sifting through hate mail calling her a ‘slag’ and wishing she would ‘die in a car crash’.

In Monday’s show Spencer was seen rubbing sun cream into Louise’s back as well as telling her he wanted to spend “all his time” wither her as he presented her with a bracelet for her birthday.

Spencer then admitted to friends that the pair had indeed “hooked up” leaving poor Jamie to be told the news by Francis Boulle over the phone.

Since then, Thompson, who used to date Spencer, has been bombarded with angry viewers insults, including one of them who said “Why are you alive!! You cheat! Die!!!!!”

In an attempt to stick up for herself, and clarify the situation, Thompson then took to social networking site, Twitter, to say:  ’Anyone that uses the C word on twitter is vile.’
As well as adding:  ’I think there’s been a big misunderstanding, I did not step on Jamie Laing’s heart.’

She then went on to tweet:  ’I did not sleep with my boyfriends bestfriend’

However, despite this, fans still continued to send the vile messages, prompting Louise to tweet the next day:  ’i do not condone cheating, but those who agree that death threats are more acceptable should be in padded rooms’

Appalled by the public treatment of his sister, Thompson’s brother, Sam, also took to the site to tweet to her: ’Wow. People are pratts. Love you sis.’
