THE mum of a contestant on a supermodel reality TV show is begging people to vote for her daughter and keep her in the show.

Christine said to The Wigan News: “I would urge all your readers to vote for Jen. She’s a real northern lass and a great Wigan girl who is doing us proud.

“She has got great determination an a lot of commitment. It’s come as a real shock that she’s up for eviction tonight, we think she has been doing brilliantly.”

Christine then told of jen’s daughter Kyla: “She was really unsettled and crying when she saw her mummy on the television at first.
“But now she’s settled down a bit and she laughs and cheers when Jen comes on.

“It has been difficult. Since she’s been in the house, they have only allowed her to have one phone call and that was very emotional.”

Christine defended jen who has had some negative comments about her weight on the show: “She’s not a size zero model. She’s a normal, healthy size 12 and it’s hard to hear all the criticism that she’s getting on the show, it does upset you – I think watching it has made me lose about half a stone.”
