Miley Cyrus fans, gather round! The global superstar has announced the UK leg of her Bangerz World Tour this morning.

The news that Miley Cyrus was going to be embarking on a world tour came during her Saturday Night Live appearance in October, in which she starred as the host and musical guest. Now, it has been confirmed that she’s bringing her shenanigans to the UK!

Now, I don’t know whether Miley will be swinging across the stage on a giant wrecking ball, but I do know that she will be taking that weird desert sand dune that we saw on The X Factor on tour with her! Snazzy, huh?

The tour is officially set to kick off on Tuesday, May 6 at London’s o2 Arena before moving onto cities such as Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.

At the moment, only 7 dates have been announced but we’ve been made aware that additional dates will be announced shortly.

Tickets will go on pre-sale on Thursday, December 12 with general release following on Friday, December 13. Tickets will be priced at £47.50 / £55 / £60 for the London dates and £47.50 / £55 for the regional dates.

It has been a very busy couple of months for Miss Cyrus. She’s managed to cause controversy just about everywhere she has been and there’s also been the matter of her album release. Bangerz debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US & the Official albums chart in the UK, along with hitting the big time on the iTunes chart in over 70 countries… quite a feat, right?

Not only that, Miley’s music video for Wrecking Ball became the fatest music video to ever reach VEVO certified status, delivering 100 million views in just 6 days. The video for We Can’t Stop followed suit and reached the certified status 37 days after its premiere.
