Another week, and another X Factor US judge rumour, this time implicating Disney’s child star, Miley Cyrus as a possible judge on the hit talent competition.

According to E! News, Simon Cowell and bosses of the hit show, have discussed Cyrus, daughter of nineties one-hit-wonder country singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, as a possible addition to the far from complete judging panel

Whilst a source of the show told the broadcasting giants said that no formal offer has been made, it is expected that Cyrus will be approached with one in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears, who Cowell publicly declared would be a “fascinating addition” to the panel, has reportedly signed a contract securing her place on the show, after her fiancee-stroke-manager gained guardianship rights over the star by a judge in order to allow her to take part.

Avril Lavigne, who was one of the first people to be linked to the vacant judging positions back in February after Cowell sacked both Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, is said to still be in the running.

So, with only two seats available, either Cowell can’t count, or can’t make up his mind, watch this space!
