Bosses at MTV have finally unveiled the cast of the new Welsh equivalent of Geordie Shore, The Valleys!

According to the official MTV website, The Valleys will follow the lives of nine young adults from South Wales as they relocate to Cardiff to try and turn their career dreams into reality.

In a similar format to its succesful Newcastle counterpart, Geordie Shore, the nine new stars will be sharing a house and assigned a mentor, AK, and a boss, Jordan whose job it is to help them stay focussed and realise their chosen careers.

Of course, as in Geordie Shore – which is currently on MTV with the cast house-sitting in Mexico, the gang will be encouraged to drink as much alcohol as possible while making fools out of themselves on national television (otherwise it would just be The Apprentice, wouldn’t it?) over a six-week period.

All the cast have been chosen from traditional  ‘Valleys’ areas like Tonyrefail and Tonypandy, with the stars of the new show  hoping to equal the success of Geordie Shore,  the biggest ever show for MTV in terms of ratings.

The chosen career paths of the youngsters taking part range from law to bricklaying, but they all have one common goal; to have a good time!

So without further adieu, we give to you the cast of The Valleys:

Natalee Harris, 23

Leeroy Reed, 21

Occupation: Labourer

Jenna Jonathan, 21
