Must Be The Music: Dizzee Rascal ‘Simon Cowell wouldn’t say the things I say!’
Dizzee Rascal has claimed that he will be tougher than Simon Cowell on the hopefuls on his new show.
The British rap star is judging alongside Jamie Cullum and Charleen Spiteri on Sky1′s Must Be The Music. They will be searching for the UK’s best music act – any age, any song, any style. Dizzee told Bang Showbiz:
“It’s cool, there are times where I was a bit soft at first but as we’ve gone along, if they’re sounding a bit crap, I’ll say they’re sounding a bit crap, I’ve been getting a bit real,” he said.
“Simon Cowell wouldn’t say the things I say!”
“Jamie Cullum is the nice guy and Sharleen Spiteri can be quite tough, she’s tougher than me,” he said.
Dizzee, who reportedly lost his temper with the show’s audience recently, added that he is excited about the talent search.
“It’s nice to witness the creation of a star in front of you, it’s an amazing thing, especially the bands because I don’t work with many bands,” he said.
“The good thing about it all is the winning artists get £100,000, to perform at Wembley and they get their songs on iTunes.”
