Nick Lachey, who is best known for being Jessica Simpsons husband in MTV’s ‘The Newlyweds’ is heading back to reality TV.

E! Online have reported that Nick will develop and executice produce a real-life version of hit 80’s TV series Fame. It will follow a group of students at the School For Creative And Performing Arts in Cincinnati, which Nick attended and boasts former pupils such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Carmen Electra.

“The stories and relationships are all set to music that’s organic in what’s going on in the school and also performed by the kids,” MTV executive Tony DiSanto reportedly said.

“This is a genre-busting, creative experiment I’m really excited about.”
