Non-music retailers back Simon Cowells ‘Help For Haiti’ Everybody Hurts
House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, BHS, Oxfam and BP Connect/BP Express have backed Simon Cowell’s Help For Haiti single and agreed to stock it in their stores.
Twenty-one top current music stars have added their vocals to the single, which is a cover of REM’s Everybody Hurts.
Chairman of Marks & Spencer, Sir Stuart Rose, said: “The challenges faced by the people of Haiti in the wake of last month’s devastating earthquake are enormous.
“We are proud to be stocking this record and will be donating all profits generated by its sale to the relief effort. We urge all our customers to buy a copy and in doing so help to rebuild the lives of thousands of people.”

It’s nice to see everyone doing their bit for charity and to see that some retailers are not just about making loads of profit.
