One Direction 2012: 1D boys bring Rays Of Sunshine to seriously ill kids
Yesterday, the band members of One Direction, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, paid a visit to some of the seriously ill children who benefit from having their wishes come true thanks to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity.
And for one little girl, Niamh, her wish to meet 1D’s Niall Horan came true as he posed for a picture with the little fan.
He posted the pic on Twitter, commenting, “Met this amazing girl this morning, niamh! Great morning @RaysofSunshine ,brave girl”
After the visit, the charity’s rep tweeted, “Thanks to @onedirection for a fantastic @raysofsunshine wish morning today! Lots of wishes granted!”
The 1D boys – as well as numerous other celebrities, including JLS – are also contributing their favourite recipes for a cookery book that the charity is to be releasing soon, the proceeds of which will all go to Rays of Sunshine…
The One Direction boys have supported the charity ever since they shot to fame on The X Factor, and last year, they made one little girl’s wish come true by meeting with her and her family.
Brogan, who has kidney disease, met with the lads along with her sister Paige and their mum and dad, and were treated to an all expenses paid weekend in London.
At the time, Brogan’s dad John said, “The wish was absolutely brilliant. The whole day was wonderful, superb!
“We all had such a great time and were both over the moon to meet One Direction.”
Aww boys, good on you for doing such good work for the charity. It’s what makes you beautiful.
