One Direction 2012: Harry Styles gets new tattoo dedicated to his mum Anne Cox
The One Direction stars were mobbed once more this week as they left the Sony Music offices in London, and while we were undoubtedly impressed by his cute hat and endearing smile as we looked at pictures of Harry Styles, what really captured our attention was a shot showing a new tattoo on his forearm.
The band have all been spending an increasing amount of time in the tattoo parlor recently, with Zayn Malik getting a new inking just a few weeks ago. However, perhaps using up some of their loyalty points with their favourite body artist Harry has become the latest member to add a new design to his body.
The handsome star has the letter A marked on his forearm, causing speculation that the mummy’s boy is paying tribute to his mother Anne Cox, to who he has always been incredibly close.
Styles returned to his family home last week, to pamper his mother when she took ill and she recently told The Daily Mail:
“He’s a mummy’s boy. Sometimes, he phones up to five times a day,” she said.
“When there’s a time difference, he tends to text saying, ‘I love you, Mum,’ or ‘I miss you’. He’s still my little boy. He gives the best hugs ever.”
The new tattoo isn’t Harry’s first, as he already has a large star on the inside of his bicep, and he recently had the lyrics: “Won’t Stop Till We Surrender,” written next to the star.

I think its adorable! And and I don’t think there’s a problem with it. I also think it shows people not to mess with his mom! Hahahaha(: And even if some people don’t like it or thought it was a horrible idea then again its his body and whatever he wants to do to it he can. But overall I thinks its really cute and I love it! (:

I don’t think it is a problem. It’s so cute and AAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!, it’s so adorable:D….Some people might not like it but he can do whatever he wants with himself. Especially if it’s something special for his mom. I love Harry styles. He’s so sweet and is showing how much he really loves his mom and how he’s a momma’s boy.

He’s such a cutie…my son is 11 and does the same thing. He loves him mom that’s all. I figure if at 11 my son is still hugging and kissing me in front of his classmates, he will always respect me, and I respect him for being so lovable. Good for Harry
