One Direction 2012: Husband of Lucy Horobin says Harry Styles caused him “unimaginable pain”
As fans of One Direction will doubtless know, it was revealed recently that teenaged singer Harry Styles had a fling with 32 year old married DJ Lucy Horobin, and today, her husband Oliver Pope has revealed that the affair caused him “unimaginable pain.”
When the news of the affair broke, it was also revealed that Harry dumped Lucy in order to date Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack and it seems Lucy decided to tell Oliver – to whom she’d been married for just a year when she began seeing Harry – about the affair after he remarked, “Harry Styles? The little scumbag with Caroline Flack?”
The Sun reports that after Lucy told him she’d been unfaithful to him with Harry, Oliver told a friend, “I was outraged. The pain was unimaginable.
“Not only was my wife telling me she had slept with somebody else, she was telling me it was him, Harry Styles…
“I was devastated. I felt every emotion — hatred, sadness, disappointment.”
Oliver also slated Harry for “chasing older women”, adding, “He’s a predator.”
Since the news of Harry and Lucy’s affair, she has been inundated with vile abuse from 1D fans, and has had to quit Twitter. One user even branded her a “dirty paedophile” and another added, “I can’t believe you sleeping with a 17-year-old.”

Lucy because she knew she was married and knew harry was much younger than her. She should’ve been faithful to her husband and told Harry no. Harry didnt know anybetter, hes just akid!
If he’s old enough to have sex, he’s old enough to know and deal with the consequences of his actions. ‘Hes just a kid’ isn’t an excuse.
In one way or another, they’re both to blame for the affair.
Harry, well, he’s a flirt, I think everybody already knows that. However I think Lucy deserves a bit more blame than Harry does. Ok, you’re right, ”He’s just a kid” isn’t an excuse, I don’t think he is that much of a kid if he can have sex anyway, so you’re completely right Keira. BUT I think SHE had to stop Harry from doing something wrong and hey, she didn’t! She’s over a decade older than him, for God’s sake! She could’ve said NO, she SHOULD have said NO, but she didn’t! So lame.
And I completely disagree with the woman’s husband. It’s as if he thinks she didn’t have anything to do with it and was all Harry’s fault. HELLOOO!?? It takes TWO to f*** ya know!
