After seeing pictures of the One Direction lads stood on top of Tower Bridge in London last month, the official video for Midnight Memories finally landed yesterday and it’s safe to say that they broke the internet.
The highly anticipated video landed on the internet late yesterday afternoon and in less than 24 hours, the lads have managed to notch up more than 4 million views on YouTube – impressive, huh?
The video is one of the more energetic, fun and playful videos we have seen from One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan.
In the video, the lads can be seen at a house party and even popping into their local kebab shop for some late night munch. We’ve all been there…. Some more often than others! We’ve got to say, when the video started, it was one of the most boring parties we’ve ever seen, but the DJ pops on Midnight Memories and… it doesn’t change! So, the lads take matters into their own hands and pop off for a kebab, fall into someone’s garden and then pinch some mobility scooters before going on a joy ride on a police boat.
They’re so mischievous, but we loved the video and the director definitely deserves a pat on the back as the video has gone on to achieve almost 5 million views at the time of writing this article. 4,903,417 if you’re interested in figures.
Meanwhile, Directioners around the globe went bonkers yesterday as the lads dropped the brand new video.
One fan wrote: “The Midnight Memories video is mixture of everything. I love it”.
Another added: “OMG!!!! Midnight Memories is so amazing!! Lets break the VEVO again!!”.
But one fan wasn’t so happy, as they wrote: “Zayn wasnt showed enough in the midnight memories video (sic)” – oh man!
But, what do you think of the Midnight Memories video? We love it *hits replay*.
