The One Direction boys may have enjoyed the last few months off work but it seems that while they’ve been staying out of the public eye, they have still been planning for the rest of 2014.

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan haven’t been seen in public together since December 2013 – apart from their short reunion at The Brit Awards last Wednesday – but in an interview after the ceremony Niall revealed that they have lots of plans already in place for their Where We Are World tour.

The boys confirmed that they haven’t spent any time together since Christmas, but plenty of work has been going on behind the scenes and when the shows start in April, fans can expect some pretty impressive spectacles.

In an interview with Capital FM Niall revealed that the band is teaming up with the man behind Robbie Williams’ Take The Crown stadium tour.

The creative director has planned most of the 1D TV performances to date but now Lee Lodge will work with the X Factor band as they move from stadium to stadium in Europe, US, South America, New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

Meanwhile Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are excited about the massive fireworks displays that have been planned for the end of their gigs.

Liam admitted that their team have hired a pyrotechnical expert who has worked with Coldplay and Rudimental in the past and he has planned ‘some amazing fireworks.” Daddy Directioner gushed:
