One Direction were just featured on The Brit Awards and the boys were asked about Justin Bieber’s latest media problems.
The Canadian star has landed himself in trouble with the police over a number of crazy incidents, which have included the egging of his neighbour’s home and drag racing in Hollywood, and as they are pally with the singer, James Corden asked 1D if they have any advice for the troubled idol.
Zayn Malik and Niall Horan have spent quite a bit of time with the Baby hitmaker so they seemed a little coy when the questioning began, but when James asked Louis Tomlinson if he had a message for Justin, he laughed:
“Keep strong and keep doing what you’re doing!”
Worst. Advice. Ever!
We’re not totally surprised though, after all it was only yesterday that Louis and Liam Payne were mocking Bieber, while recording and writing for the new 1D album.
They got a LOT of fun out of his recent name change, that’s for sure!
Meanwhile, Payne told Corden that he’s happy to be back in the One Direction fold.
When asked if he was excited to be in the O2 Arena for the prestigious ceremony tonight, Daddy Directioner insisted:
“We’re great. It’s the first time we’ve seen each other in about three months maybe.”
Harry Styles confessed that despite their plethora of awards, accolades and recognitions, they were still delighted to be nominated in so many categories this evening.
“Yeah! It’s The Brits and it’s exciting.”
To his pal James, who is hosting the show for the final time he added:
“You’re doing a great job.”
Niall looked slightly pained on the red carpet earlier in the night, as he hobbled about on crutches. Of course the Irish crooner had surgery just over a month ago to fix an old football injury, which caused him a LOT of pain during last year’s world tour.
The Brit Awards kicked off 40 minutes ago and already we’ve been treated to performances from Katy Perry, The Arctic Monkeys and Bruno Mars. Beyonce is still to come!
