Despite being one of the hottest stars around, Niall Horan would rather hang out with his dad and his family than his new showbiz pals it seems and the One Direction star was spotted at the rugby with his father over the weekend.
The Little Things singer took Bobby Horan to The Brit Awards last Wednesday and he played plus one to his famous son again on Saturday, when the pair headed to Twickenham to watch the England v Ireland match.
The pair were there to watch the home country take on one of their biggest rivals in the Six Nations game, though they were left disappointed when Ireland lost. Nialler tweeted:
“Was at twickenham yesterday for England v Ireland ! Fantastic game ! Not the best result for us ! The Irish fans are out in force in London”
However the game wasn’t a total loss and after the match, Niall and his dad posed to have their picture taken with the rugby World Cup trophy.

Bobby told The Sun of his pride in Niall, insisting that his son is ‘still the same’ despite his huge fame and even larger bank balance.
The Mullingar lad is one of the most recognisable young stars in the world and there is barely a country he can visit where he won’t be mobbed. He has flash cars, a fancy apartment and a designer wardrobe but Horan senior loves that Niall still has “the same friends and he looks out for everyone.”
The star was spotted at last week’s Brit Awards on crutches and he’s still hobbling after an invasive operation on his knee at the beginning of January.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been a big help in aiding his recovery, providing him with access to the team doctors and physic staff.
Bobby revealed that his son had a ‘tough time’ after his surgery but revealed that Niall should be off his crutches this month, well before the One Direction world tour kicks off.
The Where We Are shows start in April but before then the One Direction singers will all be working on their fourth studio album, which is set for release later this year.
Niall and Liam Payne are hoping the record will include a collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
