Did Sky News ambush Peter Andre ?
Peter Andre has had a tough day of uncomfortable interviews. As he prepares to release his latest album of love songs, he had a huge PR run planned for this week and instead of promoting his record, he has spent the day talking about the fact that his barely ex wife has eloped and married her cage fighting boyfriend.
The stress was obviously getting to Peter by the time he conducted this interview with Sky News, where he gets a bit teary when discussing the news. The turning point seemed to come when Peter was asked how he would tell the kids that Mummy got married again. The thought seemed to distress Peter and the situation was made worse when Sky News ambushed him with a clip of Harvey’s Dad Dwight Yorke blasting Peter for wanting to adopt his son and then asking if Alex Reid would try to adopt his kids.
Poor Peter got agitated and tried to respond without breaking legal restrictions in place, banning him from discussing his and Katie’s custody arrangements. In the end, in tears, he called a halt to the whole interview and didn’t even get to plug his album.

I think that the interview was wholly designed to upset Peter Andre, He obviously loves Harvey very much, and where was Dwight Yorke for the last four years? Peter seems to be like most of us “normal folk”.. i.e, still getting over his split and divorce from Kate, (who I think he loved very much), and also getting used to the arrangements for seeing his children.Maybe knowing how emotional he can get over his kids, this interveiw was a bad call from his management? I wish the both of them well, but somehow I think Kate will be back in the divorce courts, making those same custody arrangements for her & Alex.s children.
I don’t usually get suckered in by rubbish like this on TV, neither do I particularly like Peter Andre or this whole new extreme fascination with celebrities but after stumbling upon this interview on the sky news website this did annoy me quite a lot. So much so in fact that I have cancelled my sky subscription and will stick to the BBC for more ‘normal’ and less ‘chav style’ news reporting. I used to like sky news as it usually had more ‘breaking news’ than the BBC, mainly due to a lack of quality control I would imagine. This interview is just the pits – Kay Burley, take a journalism course!

Kay Burley and Sky news should be ashamed of themselves upseting Peter like this. She had the nerve to say she did not mean to upset him. Of course she did. How on earth did they think he would feel?
It was cruel and hurtful. Peter Andre is one of the nicest men I have ever known in the showbiz world, and Katie whoever she is will look back one day and regret what she lost.
This is absolutely disgusting – not journalism at all!! The Dwight Yorke trick was rubbish and not at all in the same context as Pete and Alex – Pete obviously loves and dotes on Harvey whilst Dwight, it appears, couldnt give a damn until someone else does!! I could see absolutely no need for any of it – shame on you Sky News and shame on you Kay Burley – I hope you are “mortified” and I think we can safely say that you have done absolutely nothing to make people take you seriously as a news presenter. Silly to ask Peter if he would mind Alex adopting his children. Harvey was a different matter his father was NOT hands on and hardly knew him. Peter is a doting father who absolutely adores his children. So sad for him. I hope people buy his Album and stop making him pay for Katie’s wild madness.
Katie is so silly,she thinks this will be a love story and make her popular and able to make millions again. She does not deserve to. She has become a user she seems to have wisked Alex off before anyone can talk him out of it. Oh boy is he going to be played.
100% worst interview ever. That lady should be ashamed of herself and sky. What is the world turning to when journalists go out of their way to humiliate Peter on TV. He was there not to talk about his album okay Katie and Alex was bound to be mentioned, but harvey? Dwight? custody of Peters kids? what the F—! Katie married Alex because we can’t stand her and love Alex, so she thought she would capture and seduce the man public like, marry him the same week as Peter’s promo tour and again, she does all this for publicity. You know what sweetheart Kate – go and have some more Botox and maybe next time we really won’t recognise you because that is the only way people are going to stop hating you. You are a user of Men, Media, People, Family and lowest of the low you use your kids, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Let us all go out and buy Peters Album. He is such a lovely guy he deserves to be in the lime light,for himself. Not because a stupid off the rails spoilt brat will do anything for the sensation of it.
Alex wake up she sumped you when she came out of the jungle. Begged Peter to take her back. (Peter was too sensible for that ) Then she linked up with you again. When you were in ‘Big brother she dumped you until you one.
Her own remark ‘Everyone loves Alex. Now they will be on my team’. Should prove to easy going Alex it’s NOT HIM she wants.
No wonder she went to Vegas so fast, Vinnie and Dane would surely have told him DON’T DO IT.

he didnt start to cry though until the thought of some one taking his kids was mentioned. i think hes more angry then upset anyways because his kids includin harvey mean the world to him…. which really sums up how important his CHILDREN are two him… unlike some people. Kate is gonna look back at this and regret it soo much i know i would !
His tears I am sure are for the mess his poor children are in the middle of. A mother who is so out of control she has married a man she does not love. A simple cage fighter who is caught up by the magic of money the crazy whirl-wind of her world. All the glitz he thinks he is now part of. I hope when Katie Price has a break down her mother and brother and her so called management and friends will be there to shoulder some of the blame and do something to really help her.
I think sky set up Peter Andre, it was very unconfortable to watch, Kay Burley completly over stepped the mark i am a big news watcher and i for one will NOT be watching Kay Burley any more.

Roy well done. Sad thing is Peter was there to talk about his album. Kay Burley stupidly made it all about stupid Kate Price, who looks as if she has gone back to being Jordan. Her wedding picture looked like ‘Porn Star Jordan’, really Uck’s.
What a set up, How can they compare Peter to Dwight, and suggest the kids might be adopted by Alex??? The kids have a hands on father in Peter, unlike the non existant father of Dwight to Harvey. He (Dwight) has a cheek suggesting Peter was disrespectful when it seems he doesn’t even see Harvey! Is he (Dwight) also trying to catch on to some of Jordan’s publicity?

What a rediculous notion to suggest Alex Reid would want much less request to adopt the children, when Peter Andre is clearly a hands on doting dad. To compare Peter Andre with the absent father of Harvey, Dwight Yorke is farcical. What an ambush! Kay Burley’s actions were despicable she should be ashamed of herself. The whole debacle has backfired and Sky News has been left with egg on its face.

Yes Peter did leave but, anyone who watched their reallity shows would know how badly Katie treated him. Always putting him down an trivializing any thing he did or said.
No one, with any self respect, could put up with that sought of treatment without cracking eventually. And, crack he did.
Katie doesn’t seem to have cottoned on yet! Enormous amounts of people in this country watched their reallity show over the years, and are all to well aware of her conduct towards her husband and, family life.

He was on TV to promote his Album and thats what singers have to do, not talk about a stupid senario that will not happen.
He left his wife for personal reasons, he did not leave his kids. He stepped in to have them now while she flew off without even telling him.
The depth of her feelings speak for themselves after her Las Vegas debancle. The week she should have had her children she ran off to Las Vegas,

Peter is just as much a disgrace as Katie Price for stepping away from his wife and children like he did. He has tried to take the higher ground and has just been knocked slightly from his perch.
Dwight Yorke may be a crappy father in his eyes but that does not give him the right to suggest adopting someone elses child when there was not need. He could have been the step dad like he is anyway. Never right people off as there is always the chance they can improve and he did not consider this but instead wanted to appear a better man. Well now he can feel for himself what it feels like to have another man in your childs life.
Peter needs to stop acting so pious and just get on with being the father to the children that he had with a woman of low morals and even less compassion. He made his bed so now what’s left to do but lay in it.
I feel no pity for any of them, except the kids for having such useless parents all round.
Oh one last comment, Celebrities… Who needs them? NO ONE!
