Peter Andre has accepted substantial damages over false allegations made by The People that he had been unfaithful to his now estranged wife Katie Price with a Jordan lookalike. As if one’s not enough to put the whole world off for life.

The People newspaper had claimed that 36-year-old Andre made advances of a sexual nature towards a mystery woman while he was still married to 31-year-old Price.

Price had also perpetuated rumours that he was unfaithful as when she was asked the question on GMTV, she refused to answer.

Andre addressed the crowd outside London High Court to say:

I have never been unfaithful to my wife, not with this girl or any other girl.

His solicitor told the court:

These allegations were very upsetting and offensive to Mr Andre, as they are untrue.

The amount to be paid to Andre has not been disclosed…
