Peter Andre has admitted that he fully expected the public to turn on him after he walked out on his marriage to Katie price.

The pair split earlier this year, though the reasons for the split have not yet been revealed.

He told new! magazine: “I walked out, so I expected everyone to turn on me. I said to my manager that leaving her might be the end of my career, but I was prepared to do it because I had to leave.”

He added: “I think that if I acted differently, everyone would have turned against me.”
