Katie Price’s ex-husband Peter Andre has admitted that he had no idea she intended to marry Alex Reid. Katie and Alex were married last night during a small ceremony in Las Vegas.

Peter, who only split from Katie in May 2009, spoke to Chris Moyle on his Radio One breakfast show today and insisted that his children’s welfare was his only concern.

“I’ve thought about this all of this morning and I thought as long as they’re a positive influence on my kids that’s all I care about. If they’re happy great, it’s none of my business,” he told Moyles.

“I didn’t know anything about it. I haven’t spoke to her. I do speak to her, you have to speak to each other because you have kids and you have to keep things up for them.”

He added: Bottom line is I love those kids, they’re my entire life, maybe I’m over-protective of them. But as long as they’re looked after that’s all I care about.”
