Peter Andre is reportedly gutted to have lost his recent court battle with Katie Price, meaning that he won’t be able to bring his children to Australia for Christmas.

Peter had hoped to bring the children home to see his very ill father, whose health has prevent him flying to Britain for Christmas with his grandchildren.

The People quote Peter as saying:

“This has ruined my Christmas which is all about family. Nothing else matters.

“My dad was so looking forward to seeing the kids. He’s not in the best of health so this could be the last time they might get to cuddle him.

“Now that precious moment has been snatched away. I’ve never felt so low.

“I fear this will be a nightmare that will go on forever.

“Now I am going to have to sit down and do a lot of thinking about where I go from here.”

A source close to Peter told the newspaper that Peter is now unsure about whether to make the rip or not.

They said: “If he goes on his own to Sydney it means he’ll be apart from the children completely. He’s torn between what to do for the best.

“Peter has tried to keep Katie happy but she has thrown it all back in his face by fighting him so hard over this trip. As far as he is concerned there is no going back.

“It’s an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth.”

The source added that Peter was desperate for his children to spend some time with his dad, who they have not seen in over a year. They said: “The kids haven’t seen him since February 2008 and Peter desperately wants them to get to know his father.

“He thought the fact that Savva is seriously ill would swing the situation in his favour but he was proved sadly wrong.”

“He just wanted Katie to listen to him and try and understand his point of view here.

“He doesn’t even want to argue any more even though he felt he had to fight his corner.”
