Despite repeatedly playing down the status of his new relationship, it would seem that things are getting pretty serious for Peter Andre and his toy-girl, Emily MacDonagh, as pictures in todays the Sun newspaper have shown them looking very relaxed, and in love, whilst holidaying in a mystery location.

Since the couple began seeing each other, a few months ago, Andre has repeatedly commented on the fact that they are just having a nice time, but that he wasn’t jumping in to anything with the pretty medical student who is 16 years his junior.

Andre met MacDonagh after her surgeon father, Ruaraidh, had treated him recently.  Since the relationship went public, Andre, who used to be married to model/business woman, Katie Price, came under heavy criticism over the age gap between them, something he publicly declared in his magazine column, didn’t bother either of them, saying at the time:

“We don’t even think about the age difference – it’s irrelevant.

“I’m really, really happy and although it’s very early days with Ems and we’re just seeing how it goes, she’s a beautiful girl and I’m loving spending time with her.”

Andre has been notoriously sceptical about love and relationships since his nasty split with Price, and has vowed never to wear his heart on his sleeve again to avoid getting hurt, something that his ex, Elen Rivas will vow to after he ended their relationship after only a few months for fear it was getting too serious, but going by the look of comfort and happiness on his face in today’s pictures we think it might be fair to say that he has let some of his guards down.
