Piers Morgan & The Death Of Celebrity
Clear a spot on your sofa on Sunday night – Channel 4 are running a hour-long programme called “The Death Of Celebrity” fronted by Piers Morgan. According to the blurb:
Piers Morgan aims to put talent back on the map and real stars back on their pedestals. By putting those who have recently made “celebrity” a dirty word under the spotlight, Piers sets out to discover if their time is finally up.
The Death Of Celebrity champions the real stars that have succeeded due to God-given talent rather than a propensity to fall out of nightclubs, appear on reality TV or shag someone famous. For years talent-free celebs have taken us for a ride: famous for just being famous, they manipulate the media, demand our attention, and monopolize the airwaves.
A specially commissioned poll aims to find out who the public think are the top 10 most pointless celebs, while a unique talent show uncovers whether these tabloid darlings actually have a hidden skill. A range of real stars discuss their rise to the top and the rise of the pointless celeb, while the current celebrity crop offer their personal insight into how they have achieved fame and fortune.
The trailer for the show has Morgan asking Maxwell and Saskia from Big Brother does it bother you that neither of you have any talent?
There’s a discussion thread about The Death Of Celebrity over on DigitalSpy.
What Do You Think?
What are your thoughts on the ten most pointless celebrities? Are Maxwell and Saskia among them?

I hate it when dummies like Spencer BB3 rear their ugly heads. Jade can clearly see through Spencer and she has proved her intelligence by steering clear of ugly bully Spencer. He is jealous of Jade, just like Alardice will drop sexy Becks if he beomes England boss, out of jealousy. DIE SPENCERBB3 DIE!
Are you sure about that? Wasn’t Spencer a bit of a pussycat in Big Brother?
