Tonight Gordon visits Italian restaurant Campania in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. In just 18 months, owner Joe Cerniglia has run it into the ground through a fatal combination of a cumbersome menu, a chaotic kitchen and confused staff.

Gordon’s verdict: the only thing that can save this restaurant is balls: meatballs, lovingly prepared and served, the kind of food that the locals will find irresistible and that can put Campania back on the map. But can Joe cut through his self-created chaos and rise to the challenge, or will Campania sink without trace?
