Just how real are people on reality shows…. are they still ..real people..when they know they have a camera in their face?

To find out The True Lives crew went in search of 6 people to let us invade their lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 3 months. They told them they would be followed around by cameras everywhere they went… what they didn’t tell them was that the Castle they were moving them into was wired with Hidden Cameras. They just assumed (as hoped) that when the camera crew left the room, they were off camera.

True Lives also wanted to take the Reality TV world to the next level, how often on the other shows do they tease about the romance going on, and at the last second cut away… well they knew what people wanted to see… people want to see it all, and that’s what they will see.

No bleeping of swears, no blurring of nudity, no limits of what can happen. The show begins with a glimpse into the variety of people who interviewed for the show, and the procedures of finding the 6 individuals.

One by one heres the group.

Danielle: The aerobics instructor who is training for a triathlon, and working at becoming a fitness spokesperson.

Doug: The struggling musician who plays the streets for spare change and dreams of a life on the big stage.

Jason: The B-Movie actor who is tired of his butt getting as much screen time as his face, and is looking to move into the big-time.

Nafisah: New to L.A. after being kicked out of her house by her parents, she is looking to make a living, or just get by…whichever is easier.

Miranda: a single mother, who is putting herself through school to become a nurse, Student by day, exotic dancer by night, she is conflict waiting to happen.

And finally

Jerry: The life of the party, the he is a man..s man. Beer, parties and girls are his main focus… if there is something going on Jerry either started it or is right in the middle of it.

And what better place to put our six contestants up than a beautiful Castle in Hollywood California, complete with a mote swimming pool, stone Jacuzzi… it..s going to be an interesting 3 months.
