Does it count as a Reality TV show? I’m not sure, although the winner is decided by a public vote.

Anyway, dear friends and loyal readers, Tabby and I are asking for a favour this weekend from all of you. We want you to watch this week’s Restoration Village final and vote for Cushendun Old Church.

Why?

Well, you may not know it, but Unreality TV beams directly to you 24 hours a day from the shores of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland. And Cushendun Old Church is the one building from Northern Ireland that made this year’s Restoration final.

I visited the church at the weekend, and spoke to some of the people who are pushing for the renovation. They’re a dedicated bunch, and the village has seen a lot of benefit already from the publicity the show has given them. Help them out by watching the live final on Sunday and casting a vote!
