Former Take That singer, Robbie Williams has expressed a desire to appear on next years series of Strictly Come Dancing.

“You can expect me on Celebrity Come Dancing towards the end of the summer next year,” he wrote on his official website.

Williams took himself off to live in LA five years ago after the press attention here got too much to handle, however he has revealed that he has recently started feeling homesick and is considering moving back to the UK.

“It was my recent trip to England that did it. I felt plugged in. Roots! I really miss it,” he wrote. “For all its crap weather, I need to be among Brits again.

“Back in Britain, I listened to the radio in the car, watched what and who was on the TV and then it all came back. Ambition, that is. I wanted to put an album out the next day.”
