Katie Price is said to be in a state of panic, after many of her celebrity contacts have turned down invitations to her second wedding to Alex Reid.

The former glamour model secretly married the cage fighter in February and plans to hold a nuptial blessing for her family and friends next month. However she is said to be considering paying famous guests to show their faces at the ceremony, after most of her contacts refused to attend.

The News Of The World reports that Michelle Heaton, Danielle Lloyd and glamour model Emma B will be at the event but the more famous Sarah Harding, Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby,Steven Gerrard and Davina McCall said no.

Also said to have turned down her invitation are Katie’s two ex boyfriends Dane Bower and Gareth Gates, along with Alex Reid former Big Brother housemates Vinnie Jones, Sisqo and Stephen Baldwin.

A pal told the newspaper:

“She’s thinking about booking Sugababes or The Saturdays to perform. It will help because they’ll count as well known guests.

“Her wedding to Peter was a real star-studded bash, but it’s the opposite this time.”
